thank you Kristin! As an unabashed techno-optimist, sometimes the climate change space feels so unfriendly to builders, people who want to create solutions rather than just harp and block real action.

Ditto, keep fighting the good fight and ignore sour performative broekens ❤️

You ignore two important truths :

1. You cannot solve a problem using the tools that created it.

2. Green investing is abject nonsense; it is still extractive because it is still capital.

We are not idiots. We have advanced beyond where you are to a realization that capital expansion is environmental destruction. They are inseparable.

If a solution doesn’t destroy wealth it won’t destroy power, and power will always consume the environment.

We don’t expect you to get it because you still see capitalism as infallible.

It appears you are easily sold on pseudoscience. The abundant water claim is unproven. Did you know the GAO assessed cloud seeding and found that the programs were not statistically significant in their water gains claim? Nice on a marketing brochure, but operators had the potential for biased, inflated claims.

Let’s not try to help the snake oil salesmen. Stick to the facts.

“when uncertainty was considered in estimates of cloud seeding effectiveness, the estimated effect was not distinguishable from zero with a high degree of statistical confidence” Pg 22

Such a refreshing read - and an encouraging one.

:) keep fighting the good fight, and thanks for giving the rest of us a glimpse of what that looks like!
